Big decisions have been made!

Thanks to Darian's parents we will have a GORGEOUS Amish made crib for baby Misky.

It converts to a toddler bed and then a full-size bed. Now we just have to pick out a dresser and have it made.

We've also decided on a chair. It is the Best Chairs story time series Tryp model. I still don't know what color but here is the model:

19 weeks!

Here is my 19 week 1 day belly:

It has definitely popped!

The doc said it would take another few months for Darian to feel the baby but she was wrong! He felt it on Saturday morning when it was swimming all around and kicking me! It is super active in the morning. When I'm laying on my back you can actually feel it through my skin. Crazy. I can't wait until it is strong enough for him (and I) to feel it consistently.

I have been having a lot of little contractions. Apparently that is normal, the doc just said if it happens more than 4 x per hour to call. So far it is pretty sporadic and when it happens I try to lay on my left side and they seem to go away.

We registered (sort of) on Saturday. Holy overwhelming!! If you have any must have tips, send them my way! We got the big stuff out of the way but it's the little stuff that is going to be cumbersome. I've enlisted a few experts so hopefully they will help fill in the gaps.

Time to go organize the office. Fun stuff.

What a great way to wake up!

We always bring the girls into bed with us after their 6-6:30 wake up call and breakfast. This morning I was OUT and didn't even remember them getting into bed. Then about 9:15 I woke up with the sun streaming in on my face, a head pinning my legs down and a big ole' furry head laying next to me. Wrigs was in heaven. She had her back up against me, head comfortably placed on my pillow and her little paws laying on daddy's shoulder. Not sure what life would be like without these amazing furry kids but they sure do make life an adventure!

Speaking of adventures...Earlier this week Darian woke to Cali puking up 3 rocks and an odd rubber tube she must have found in the yard. Well, the entire day she was just off and then in the evening she wouldn't stand on her back legs. Darian was freaking out and called the emergency vet. They said just watch her all night but it sounds like another rock might be passing and that is causing her a lot of pain. The fear is that the rock will get stuck in her small intestines and she could need surgery or worse...

Here is the pic of Cali with a rock in her colon:

I THINK I felt the baby move!

On Wednesday night I had a great dinner with some college friends and much of the conversation was about my growing belly and my anxiety over not feeling the baby yet. Then, Thursday morning when I was getting ready, I felt that little "gas bubble" that I THINK they were referring to! Then again after a nice carb filled lunch I felt the same thing. Could it be the baby? Maybe! I'll know better on Monday when I can see it moving and see if I get those same feelings. So exciting!

Another ironic thing happened...I got a charlie horse in my leg while I was sleeping last night. The first one. The only reason this is ironic is because I opened up my "What To Expect" app on my phone this morning and guess what the subject was, leg cramps! I have never been so happy to be "typical" in my life!

Monday is the big 18 week ultrasound. I am so anxious I can hardly stand it. Praying for a beautiful, healthy, perfectly growing little Pinto.

The walls are done!

Here are the after pics! The walls look blue in the pics but they actually have more of a tealish hue. It's amazing how different it looks in person. Now that the wainscoting is up, I'm leaning more toward dark furniture. I think it will just be too stark with white furniture too. The room is already super bright because of the huge window so adding white furniture might push it over the edge. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
