Only 15 weeks to go! Whoa. That is CRAZY! I'm feeling great other than my achy breaky rib and some back pain. I saw the chiro again yesterday to get adjusted and did some "rehab" (aka someone taught me how to stretch). It is not surprising that I really like being popped and I really do feel better afterward. The back stuff is definitely muscular so I'll be incorporating massage into my regimen as well.
"It's a good one!" - Darian
That is going to be the tag line for this pregnancy. Every single time Darian sees my bare belly that is what he says. He has no clue he is doing it and it cracks me up! I know how strange it is every time
I look at it and it's my body so I can't imagine how strange it is for him.
Last night I told him that at this point he might be able to hear the heartbeat if he puts his ear to my belly. His response, "uhhh, that's a little weird". Whenever it's moving I'll grab his hand and let him feel. He'll feel one or two movements and then pull away. I really think he is totally freaked out by the whole thing but just being super sweet and doing the best he can to act like it's really cool. He will not be winning any Oscar's for his performance.
BEDDING UPDATE: I
think I've changed my mind on the bedding. I am working with a friend from high school, Nicole of www.twolittlefishblog.blogspot.com, that does custom baby bedding. It is an amazing company! They pair fabric they buy here with fabric made by women in Africa, thus supporting their village. SO right up my ally! Well, inadvertently she introduced me to the brighter version of the one I already had picked out. It is GORGEOUS and so fun!

First things first, I have to get a sample and make sure it would still look good with the wall color because that is not changing. I already want to paint the guest bathroom and second bedroom so Darian would KILL me if I changed that..plus, I really like the color it is.
Nicole is working on what coordinating colors she would put with this to keep it gender neutral. She is also looking at my original fabric and what pairings would go with that one. Either way I'm totally going with one of these fabrics. This brighter one would be so fun with the black crib and white wainscoting. Either way, I can have her do custom drapes and I won't feel like the fabric is overpowering the room which was why I'd been dragging my feet on ordering. Well, I now know why I've been dragging my feet! I found twolittlefish! I can support an amazing cause and get some fun custom bedding for Pinto. WIN WIN!!
